Planning Cycle

Georgetown’s Enterprise Risk Management process involves several key events throughout the year. The ERM Committee meets quarterly to consider the University’s current list of Tier 1 risks as well as new risks and opportunities. The annual risk assessment process, which identifies the most significant risks across the University, occurs in November. 

The Enterprise Risk Management process is coordinated annually in the following manner:

November

Annual Risk Assessment
- Conduct institutional risk assessment with functional risk owners

December
